Genealogy

Having done my own family history and knowing how keen family historians are to find photos of their relatives, I thought some of you out there might like to see these pictures of schoolchildren and footballers etc. Some of you may be able to put names to the faces and if so I would be delighted if you could let me know.

There are two very nice pictures of the Tulip Queen at the 1966 school fete and some of you may be on these photographs. One of my own daughters is on both of them but again I cannot name more than a couple of the other children.

On the picture of the bell ringers are left to right back row Philip Reynolds, unknown, Mo Randall and a Mr Wilson whose first name I do not know. Front row left to right are George Penniston, Jack Morris, unknown and Derek Sharpe.

I cannot identify the people in the other photos but with your help we may get there.

I do help people with their research and I am always pleased to do anything I can. I will go down to the churchyard to check on your family graves, share my knowledge and also the many photos of the village which I have in my collection.
